Header / Footer Settings
The WebAdmin Utility lets you customize and configure the Web Publisher. The Header / Footer setting lets you define what is displayed at the top and bottom of each page output by the Web Publisher.
NOTE: You can globally define this setting by choosing Default Setting. If you wish to modify this settings for a specific file, set an Alias to the file.

• Navigation Settings
The Navigation Bar in the Web Publisher lets you move to the first, previous, next, or last document in your askSam database. There are also Search and Help buttons. The Navigation Settings let you determine how the Navigation Bar is displayed. The options are:
Display navigation bar as graphics with text
Display navigation bar as graphics
Display navigation bar as text
Do not display the navigation bar
• Custom Header
Defines what is displayed at the top of each page output by the Web Publisher. This option lets you enter custom HTML code that will be displayed on each page. The options for the custom header are:
Do not display custom header (default)
Display custom header before navigation bar. This option requires you to enter the HTML code for the custom header in the text field.
Display custom header after navigation bar. This option requires you to enter the HTML code for the custom header in the text field.
Replace navigation bar with this custom header. This option requires you to enter the HTML code for the custom header in the text field.
• Footer Settings
Defines what is displayed at the bottom of each page output by the Web Publisher. This option lets you enter text or HTML code that will be displayed on each page. The options for the footer are:
Show default footer (default)
Do not show a footer.
Replace the footer with this custom footer. This option requires you to enter the HTML code for the custom header in the text field.
To define the Default Header / Footer:
1. Start the WebAdmin utility.
(Enter the URL, for example: http://www.server.com/scripts/WebAdmin4.exe)
2. Choose Default Settings (to define this setting globally), or create or edit an Alias (to define this setting for a specific database).
3. Choose the Header / Footer option at the top of the screen.
4. Select the appropriate option in Navigation Settings, Custom Header, and Footer Settings. If necessary enter the necessary HTML codes in the text boxes.
5. Choose the SUBMIT CHANGES button.
