Default Settings
The WebAdmin Utility lets you customize and configure the Web Publisher. You can define Global Settings or File Settings.
ź Global Settings - are default settings for all documents in all askSam files. These are set using the Default Settings menu in the WebAdmin utility.
ź File Settings - are default settings for all documents in a single askSam file. You define these settings by creating an Alias for a file, and then modifying the desired setting.
The Default Settings set the Web Publisher defaults for colors, background, headers, footers, search page, help, and search results.
NOTE: If you define the same setting both globally and in a single file, the File Setting has priority for that file.
To define the Default Settings:
1. Start the WebAdmin utility.
(Enter the URL, for example: http://www.server.com/scripts/WebAdmin4.exe)
2. Enter the foreground color, background color, background image or choose HEADER/FOOTER, SEARCH/HELP, or SEARCH RESULTS to set those options.
3. Choose the SUBMIT CHANGES button.
