askSam:  Ron, how are you using your copy of askSam Standard?

RON NEWBOLD:   I use askSam to maintain a database of part numbers.   Aircraft engine parts have up numbers and down numbers in addition to service bulletins etc.   Normally you either go to the engine manual or try to memorize huge amounts of data. With askSam, I create files for each specific engine and then build documents by part. Then when I search for a specific number it brings up the document with all of the types of the part.  This allows me to see if I can modify a down number or perhaps sell my customer an alternate number.  askSam is the greatest program for Windows I've ever used.

askSam: How has askSam made your job faster and more efficient?  

RON NEWBOLD: I only have to look up something in the manual once. Then I load the data I need into askSam and it's available within seconds!

askSam: What kind of response have you had from askSam's customer support?

RON NEWBOLD: When I called, the support was excellent.

askSam: Would you recommend askSam and why?  

RON NEWBOLD:  Definitely!  The product is very versatile. It can be used very simply or it can be used to design complex databases. But for text search and retrieval it is fantastic.   I will continue to add new files for the types of parts that I sell.
