askSam:  Tell us about your organization and your role within it.

DR. NUGENT:     I am a professor at Rockhurst College in Kansas City.  

askSam:   Which of our product(s) do you use and what  kind of information do you have in  your askSam database(s)?

DR. NUGENT:   I  use AskSam to organize and search digital information (newspapers, magazines, government documents, etc.) which I download from the net.  I read 5-7 newspapers daily on line and save articles relevant to my teaching and research interests.  All downloaded publications go into an .ask file for later use.  Today my total data base exceeds 100 MB; each file is kept to 2MB to minimize potential losses.

askSam: Why did you select askSam over other products?

DR. NUGENT:  The cost was reasonable and it could be used free form.

askSam: In what ways has askSam helped you in your daily routine?

DR. NUGENT: It has simplified my tasks by making relevant material available readily.

askSam:   How has askSam saved you time or money?

DR. NUGENT: Prior to askSam, I or one of my student assistants would clip and file relevant articles.  That required having a physical copy on hand - something that was not always possible.  The filing was laborous and referencing the material was a nightmare.  AskSam plus electronic subscriptions have opened a new world.

askSam: What applications do you plan for askSam in the future?

DR. NUGENT:  I'm not that sophisticated a user so I probably will simply continuing doing what I'm doing now.
