askSam: What applications are you finding for askSam Standard?

Matti Waananen:    I have a DOS version of askSam, and now I´m updating to the Win 95 version.  I´ve collected Medline, medical information with askSam; and have also used askSam when studying neurosurgical medical information.  

askSam:  How has askSam made your job faster and more efficient?

Matti Waananen: I collect my patient´s records in an askSam database. askSam makes the information easy to get when I need it.  

I  think we should collect a medical database in our hospital (Kajaani Central Hospital, FINLAND) using askSam-- patient records to form a database which young doctors can consult when seeking similar patient cases.

askSam:  What kind of customer support have you had from askSam System?

Matti Waananen:  I haven't used the support. I bought the DOS version askSam in 1989, and I learned it on my own which was hard time for a novice.

askSam:  Would you recommend askSam and why?

Matti Waananen: Yes, much information can be retrieved from askSam databases.
