askSam:  How would you describe your compancy, Best Expectations?

GORDON BEST: My firm specializes in the permanent and full time placement of computer professionals with an emphasis on software development engineers within small to medium size companies. Geographically, I work with companies in Northern Calif. (Silicon Valley), Oregon and Washington.

askSam:  What is your work environment like?

GORDON BEST:  I am a one person operation with no plans for expansion. I have no administrative staff and rely on the computer for information processing.

askSam:   How are you putting the askSam Resume Tracking System to work?

GORDON BEST:  My goal is to get rid of all the paper in my office and also consolidate several databases (applicant career profiles, resumes, client job orders, other agencies, etc) under one software package with search capability. Also, I will be automating manuel files (clients, other agencies, etc) which I have not had before. During a training session at askSam Systems, Paul Wilson assisted in the design of the entry forms for these applications. I hope my file cabinets will become history.

askSam:  Why did you select the askSam Resume Tracking System over other products?

GORDON BEST: I selected askSAM based on capability, flexibility and price. (I didn't need networking and etc.)

askSam: In what way has askSam RTS helped you in your daily routine as well as your overall operations?

GORDON BEST:  I can't say at this time because I have not fully implemented all the features. I am hoping to spend more time placing professionals and less time handling paper.

askSam:  What applications do you plan for askSam in the future?

GORDON BEST: At this time I am not sure, but I am sure there will be some as I have time to think about it.
