The course is designed to teach you everything from the basics of setting up a database to the more advanced features of electronic publishing.  You are also invited to bring copies of your own askSam file or spend time developing askSam applications using your own data.

PROGRAM:

Day 1

Following a brief overview of the askSam family of products, you will explore how askSam can be used to manage both structured and unstructured information.  You will learn how easy it is to create databases by importing information from a variety of sources, to use askSam's powerful and flexible searching tools, and to create professional reports.

Day 2

During the second day, you will create electronic documents that can be published on Internet as well as have the time to develop your own applications.  You are invited to bring your own askSam files or spend time developing askSam applications using your own data.

AIRPORTS:

Tallahassee Airport has service provided by Delta and US Air.  If cost is a factor and you don't mind driving, you might find it less expensive to fly into the Jacksonville Airport rather than Tallahassee.  You will need to allow a little over three hours to drive from Jacksonville to Tallahassee or Perry
