This database contains a listing
of newly marketed drugs, medical devices and test kits in Canada.
It should be used in
conjunction with the CPS.
It also contains a listing of recently discontinued products. To
search the database enter the name of the agent you are looking for.
You can include Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT) and wildcards (* and ?)
in your searches. For example entering *menop*
will find you entries that contain the following words; premenopause,
postmenopause, menopausal,
menopause,
etc.... You can search this database by entering the trade
name, generic name, company name, and therapeutic indication or classification.
If you don't find the product you are looking for then search the Drug
Product Database, or the Notice
of Compliance Lists of Health Canada.
