DRUG
INFORMATION DATABASE : References articles found in 24 pharmacy/medical
journals and 26 pharmacy
newsletters (indexed and non-indexed) dating back to
January 1990 and January 1995, respectively. The journals and newsletters were
reviewed by a staff drug information pharmacist to identify the title of the
article, the name of the first author, the journal citation, and any
associated keywords. This database currently contains over 37,000
citations.
PRODUCT
AVAILABILITY DATABASE: Contains availability information on recently
marketed agents (i.e., medications, medical devices, test kits), as well as investigational and
discontinued medications dating back to January 1990. Once pharmaceutical
products are included in the current Compendium of Pharmaceutical and
Specialties (CPS), they may be removed from the database. Each listing includes
the generic name(s), trade name, manufacturer, date marketed or discontinued, availability
(i.e., strength, dosage form, status), and a comments section.
