1) Healthline - Finding Information about Your Health
Before I visit a doctor for some ache, pain, bump or bruise, I
like to have some idea of what's ailing me. The Internet is a
great tool for medical and health information, but it's often
daunting sifting through all the information.
I recently started using Healthline.com, a site created in
collaboration with 1,100 physicians. Healthline provides easy
access to quality health information. Technically, Healthline
is a meta-search engine of selected health information sources.
I've used the site several times, and was impressed by the
relevancy of the results as well as the way the information is
presented.
