2004 Election Resources and Links
The Web is a great place for political research. Unlike TV, you
get more than sound bites. You can thoroughly explore issues that interest you and read the candidates' positions.
We've put together a page with links to different sources of political information. You can read the information released
by the candidates (including 3rd party candidates), check facts, and sift through information provided by various non-partisan
sites. In addition, we've put a variety of information into searchable askSam databases: the texts from the presidential
debates, the convention speeches, and more.
The Candidates
Most of us are familiar with the Republican
and Democratic candidates, but
what about the 3rd Party candidates? There are about a dozen third party
presidential candidates as well as other independents and write-ins. Politics1
has an overview of all the different candidates.
