Share your SurfSaver folders with others

SurfSaver allows you to collect lots of useful information. Did you know that you can pass SurfSaver folders to other people and allow them to search and browse the great information you have collected.

SurfSaver folders are like other folders on your system and can be copied to other locations. You can copy your SurfSaver files to CD, disk or a network drive so that other users of SurfSaver can access them. You can even email your SurfSaver folders as attachments (keep in mind SurfSaver folders contain many graphics and can grow to be very large in size).

SurfSaver folders are stored in the Program Files\askSam\SurfSaver\Files directory (this is the default directory and may be different on your system if you changed the location during install). The SurfSaver files have a .ASK extension. Once the folder is sent to another person they can simply copy the file into their SurfSaver FILES directory and access it with their copy of SurfSaver.

If your friends don't have SurfSaver, they can download it for free at:

"askSam is an essential part of my software tool chest. I can research and collect data from anywhere and any source. Once it is in askSam I can edit, rearrange, organize, and search the information easily. Then I can present it and make it totally useful for other people via the web or CD. Fantastic!"
