SurfSaver and eBay (or any auction site) make a great combination

Auction sites, including eBay, are an easy way to locate and purchase anything you need. It's so easy that you can purchase so much stuff that it's difficult to keep up with all the information about your purchases. Most on-line auction sites only hold your purchase information for a limited amount of time. Using SurfSaver to save your final purchase page allows you to store information about your purchases forever.

Advantages for using SurfSaver for auction sites...

·     Save all information about a purchase with the click of a button

·     Organize your purchases by type, date or other categories

·     Never lose a piece of information again - sellers contact information, date of purchase, product description and more.

·     Quickly locate a purchase by seller's name, product description, date of purchase and more

·     Organize your purchases by using your own keywords and notes for each purchase

·     And much more...

To save your auction pages...

1. Create an Online Auction Folder in SurfSaver

You can create as many auction folders as you need. For example, if you are only a moderate user of auction sites you may decide to have one folder called AUCTION, EBAY or WINNING BIDS. However, if you make a lot of purchases on-line you may decide to create a cabinet called AUCTION WINNINGS and make individual folders for your different types of purchases (for example: HOME, CHILDREN, BUSINESS, etc.)  For more information on how to organize your folders using cabinets, see the April 2002 SurfSaver Tip.

2. Save your winning bids...

Once you win an auction right mouse click on the winning page and choose SURFSAVER SAVE. Select your cabinet and folder and choose SAVE.

Note: You can use the KEYWORDS and NOTES fields to enter additional information about your purchase. For more information on organizing your pages using fields, click here to see the November 2001 SurfSaver Tip.

To search your auction pages...

Right Mouse click on a Web page and choose SURFSAVER SEARCH. You can search all of your purchases at once or search individual folders by clicking the box to the left of the folder so that it contains a check. Once the desired folders are selected you can enter any word or phrase to search your purchases. Also, from the search dialog, you can search your own keywords and notes or list all purchases for a folder or group of folders by clicking on the LIST ALL button in the search box.

SurfSaver will only display the purchases matching your search. So if you need to find out who sold you an item, type in the name of the item. If you want to get a sellers email address, type in the sellers name.

It's just that simple and the information is stored in your SurfSaver database forever - right at your finger tips.
