At the recent Internet Librarian 2002 conference in Palm Springs, California, the AIIP awarded the third annual AIIP Technology Award to askSam 5.
The AIIP Technology Award goes to a company whose product assists independent information professionals with their day-to-day operations in locating, analyzing, and organizing information.

The AIIP Awards Committee selected askSam 5 because it is an innovative information management software that can search and report on full-text documents and import a variety of desktop data forms including documents, email, Web pages, and PDF files.
