ASKSAM 5 AND SURFSAVER 2.3, TOGETHER AGAIN
The new SurfSaver 2.3 is here and works great with askSam 5.
Now when you save your favorite Web pages, important articles,
and research found on the Web you can super search it and
organize it better in askSam.
SurfSaver actually saves it's folder data in a file with an
ASK file extension. So basically, your SurfSaver folders are
askSam files. To open a SurfSaver folder in askSam simply choose
FILE -> OPEN and browse to your SurfSaver directory. Select the
folder you wish to open in askSam and choose OPEN.
Once you have the folder open in askSam you can use all the
askSam features to better organize your data. With your
SurfSaver folder open in askSam you can edit information, add
fields and even create reports.
Imagine having the full text of your information --i.e.
newspaper articles, magazine stories, resumes or product
information -- with the ability to add fields for easy search,
retrieval and report output.
(Note: Web pages saved in SurfSaver and opened in askSam will
not look the same. You will have full access to your text
information, but askSam will not maintain formatting.)
The combination of askSam and SurfSaver is a powerful way to
organize your information.
