Question Will askSam run under Windows 7 or Vista?
Answer Yes, askSam will run on Windows 7 & Vista. It will run on either x32 or x64 bit editions of Windows.
Resolution Please note that new security features of the Users Account Control (UAC) in Windows 7 and Vista may cause abnormal behavior of askSam. Running askSam as an administrator or setting the compatiblilty mode to an earlier version of Windows resolves the abnormal behavior. This link provides information on how to set an application to run as an administrator
Most users have not reported any issues with askSam and Windows 7 or Vista. You only need to run askSam as an administrator or in a compatibility mode if you are experiencing problems.
