How do I use Xerox's Textbridge OCR with askSam for Windows?

Answer

Xerox's Textbridge has a instant access option. This "Instant Access" allows TextBridge to directly interface with the applications on you system.

Resolution  

After installing the TextBridge OCR program. Start the "Instant Access OCR". This should be located in the TextBridge Folder in the Program Folder.

Start the "Instant Access OCR".

Add "askSam " to the list of applications for it to interface with.

You are now ready to use "TextBridge" with askSam. Start askSam for Windows. You will now have a new option under the "File" option call "Textbridge OCR".

Place you cursor in the location where you would like to the information to be OCRed. Next Select the "TextBridge OCR" under file. This will invoke the Textbridge OCR package.  Once the information is OCR it is then placed in askSam at the location of your cursor.

Note: AskSam has to be opened and minimized before Texbridge Pro will recognize it in

the instant access list of programs.
