Question I installed SurfSaver to Netscape but it won't show up in my bookmark file or in my personal toolbar.

Answer We're working on fixing this problem entirely but until then, we do have a set of steps that will add the entries in.

Resolution Follow these steps to setup your Bookmarks Manually:

Note: Be extra, extra, extra sure to back up the bookmark.htm file BEFORE you do this.

1)Open Netscape.

2)Go into your Bookmarks and choose "Edit Bookmarks".

3)Click on where it says "Bookmarks for..." to highlight that line.

4)Then go into FILE>NEW FOLDER.

5)Where it say "Name:" type the following and press Enter: SurfSaver

6)Be sure that the SurfSaver folder you just created is highlighted and o

into FILE>NEW BOOKMARK.

7)Where it says "Name:" type the following and Press Enter: SurfSaver Save

8)Where it says "Location(URL):" type the following and Press Enter: file:///C:\PROGRA~1\ASKSAM\SURFSA~1\save.ssv

9)Be sure that the SurfSaver Save Bookmark that you just created is  highlighted and go into FILE>NEW BOOKMARK.

10)Where it says "Name:" type the following and Press Enter: SurfSaver QuickSave

11)Where it says "Location(URL):" type the following and Press Enter: file:///C:\PROGRA~1\ASKSAM\SURFSA~1\quick.qsv

12)Be sure that the SurfSaver QuickSave Bookmark that you just created is highlighted and go into FILE>NEW BOOKMARK.

13)Where it says "Name:" type the following and Press Enter: SurfSaver Search

14)Where it says "Location(URL):" type the following and Press Enter:

file:///C:\PROGRA~1\ASKSAM\SURFSA~1\SurfSaver.htm

15)Scroll down to where it says "Personal Toolbar Folder" and click on that folder.

16)Then go into FILE>NEW FOLDER.

17)Where it say "Name:" type the following and press Enter: SurfSaver

18)Be sure that the SurfSaver folder you just created is highlighted and go into FILE>NEW BOOKMARK.

19)Where it says "Name:" type the following and Press Enter: SurfSaver Save

20)Where it says "Location(URL):" type the following and Press Enter:

file:///C:\PROGRA~1\ASKSAM\SURFSA~1\save.ssv

21)Be sure that the SurfSaver Save Bookmark that you just created is highlighted and go into FILE>NEW BOOKMARK.

22)Where it says "Name:" type the following and Press Enter: SurfSaver QuickSave

23)Where it says "Location(URL):" type the following and Press Enter: file:///C:\PROGRA~1\ASKSAM\SURFSA~1\quick.qsv

24)Be sure that the SurfSaver QuickSave Bookmark that you just created is highlighted and go into FILE>NEW BOOKMARK.

25)Where it says "Name:" type the following and Press Enter: SurfSaver Search

26)Where it says "Location(URL):" type the following and Press Enter:

file:///C:\PROGRA~1\ASKSAM\SURFSA~1\SurfSaver.htm

27)Close out the Bookmarks and see if they were added.
