Question

Is there any way that askSam can be made to link to other applications?

Answer

Yes.  To run another program, set a hypertext link to External Application and define any necessary parameters.

Resolution

Use the following steps:

1. In your askSam file, highlight the text you want to be the link

2. Choose Document -> Set Hypertext Link

3. Select External Application

4. Click on the Browse button and select the application you want to link to.  Choose OK

5. Under parameters, type in the pathway for the file (if any) you want to automatically open when the program's Executable file is run
