Question

How do I export my askSam file to regular text format that is suitable for importing to most other applications or into a new askSam file?

Answer

Use the Export option under the File menu and set the file type to Text files (*.TXT).

Resolution

Use the following steps:

1. Open your askSam file and choose File -> Export -> Entire File

2. Under File Type choose Text Files (*.TXT)

3. Choose Set Options

4. Select a document delimiter. (For keeping the documents in your askSam file separate.)

5. Choose OK

6. Name the file Export.txt (or another name of your choice), and choose OK to begin the export

7. Choose Close when the export is complete
