Question
How do I set up a report for 3 Wide by 10 Down mailing labels?
Answer
Create a report in your file and use the Reset Row (^R) command.
Resolution
Use the following steps as an example:
1. Open the file in which you want to create a labels report
2. Choose Tools -> New Report
3. Name the report Mailing Labels and choose Define the Layout
4. Set up a report layout similar to the following example. Use a Courier New 10 point font

5. Choose Tools -> Report Tools -> Report Settings
6. Click on Set Output Separator and set it to 2 Lines Between Documents. Choose OK
7. Choose OK to return to the report layout
8. Choose Tools -> New Report and choose Yes to save changes
9. Choose Run Report
10. When the report has run, choose File -> Page Setup. Enter .5 as the top and bottom margins. Enter .175 as the left and right margins. Choose OK
11. Choose Format -> Repaginate
12. Scroll through the document to see if the labels are aligned correctly. If not, make any necessary changes to the margins under File -> Page Setup and/or the Output Separator under Report Tools in your report layout.
