Topic Error Message when Importing Access and Excel

Question When I try to import MS Access or Excel, I get an error message:
ERROR: CDaoException
Answer The DAO (Data Access Objects) drivers are probably a little messed up. askSam version 4 uses DAO to import the Microsoft file types such as Access and Excel.
Resolution Installing version 4 from the CD will install the proper DAO drivers. Also, uninstalling and reinstalling your version of Office (or the single products like Excel or Access) or updating your version of Office/Excel/Access/ect will fix the problem.
