Question Whenever I try to right-click and choose 'SurfSaver Search' I get a script error.

Answer This is a known issue with users who have recently upgraded to Windows XP Service Pack 1 or Internet Explorer 6.0 Service Pack 1.

Resolution

To correct this issue, go to your Windows Notepad (usually found under START > PROGRAMS > ACCESSORIES), go to FILE > OPEN and browse to C:\Program Files\askSam\SurfSaver\Search.htm

Delete the following text:

    external.

So that it looks like this:

Go to FILE > SAVE and close Notepad.

This should allow you to use the SurfSaver Search right-click feature.

"askSam is an essential part of my software tool chest. I can research and collect data from anywhere and any source. Once it is in askSam I can edit, rearrange, organize, and search the information easily. Then I can present it and make it totally useful for other people via the web or CD. Fantastic!"
