Question

What's the difference between SurfSaver and using the bookmark feature of my browser?

Answer

SurfSaver creates a permanent, searchable archive of the pages you save. When you bookmark a page in your browser, you do not have a permanent copy of the page. Since Web pages can constantly change, you cannot rely on the information being available in the future.

In addition, you have no way to search the contents of your bookmarks.

"askSam is an essential part of my software tool chest. I can research and collect data from anywhere and any source. Once it is in askSam I can edit, rearrange, organize, and search the information easily. Then I can present it and make it totally useful for other people via the web or CD. Fantastic!"
