Question When I try to delete items from my pick list, it get the message that says: The Pick List for this file is corrupted and will be removed.  Why does this occur?

Answer

Corrupted Pick Lists is a known problem.  Every possible measure is being taken to correct this problem in a future release.

Resolution

To avoid removed Pick Lists, be sure to pack your files often to optimize your file and to preserve a back up.  Delete as few items from the list as possible.  If your Pick List has been removed, open a back up of the file (if you have packed it, your file will have a .bak or .sav extension instead of .ask) and choose File -> Pack.

"askSam is an essential part of my software tool chest. I can research and collect data from anywhere and any source. Once it is in askSam I can edit, rearrange, organize, and search the information easily. Then I can present it and make it totally useful for other people via the web or CD. Fantastic!"
