Question
Why do I get the message "Bad Serial Number" when I click on the askSam icon?
Answer
The serial number, stored in your askSam.ini file is incorrect (perhaps from installing a new version of askSam). You must delete the current askSam.ini file.
Resolution
Use the following steps:
1. Open your Windows 3.1 File Manager, Windows 95 Explorer, DOS prompt.
2. Change to the Windows subdirectory
3. Delete the askSam.ini file
You should now be able to enter askSam normally.
