Use SurfSaver to track memorable events
The Internet is a great place to track current events. Historical and memorable events in sports (Olympics, Superbowl, World Series), politics (presidential elections), world events (September 11), etc - are recorded immediately on-line. The problem is once you've found it, what do we do with all of it? Current events, like many other things on the Net, come and go very quickly. You need a way to preserve the moment. Use SurfSaver to organize, save, and recall any current news. It's easy.
1. Create a SurfSaver Cabinet for historical events - Click on the CREATE CABINET icon in the SurfSaver Save dialog or press (CTRL+INSERT)

2. Inside the Cabinet, create a folder for each memorable or historical event (i.e. Olympics 2002, SEPT 11, etc.) - Click on the CREATE FOLDER icon in the SurfSaver Save dialog or press INSERT.

Note: The organization option above is a suggestion. You can organize you SurfSaver information in a way that is comfortable for you. For example you may decide to create cabinets for each category (i.e. Sports, Local, World, Politics, etc.).
3. Browse the Web and find news articles, commentaries, pictures, stories, quotes, and more, and save them to your SurfSaver folder by right mouse clicking on the page and choosing SurfSaver Save.
Note: Don't forget that you record your own Title, Keywords and Notes with each page you save. This will provide you with more ways to locate the information as well as more information about the page you are saving.
Once your events are saved in SurfSaver you can easily recall any event. SurfSaver allows you to search the full text of every page you save. You can easily find events whenever you need them. You can use SurfSaver to search the entire historical Cabinet or click on specific folders to search individual events. You can also search your notes and keywords. Give it a try and never forget a piece of history again.
