Running a user group offers challenging opportunities  -  coordinating programs, publishing newsletters, participating in community projects, and doing all of this "in your spare time". Presentations

askSam presentations provide ideas to help you manage your information the freeform way.

The average user can access more information than ever before (via on-line systems, CD-ROMs, OCR software, databases, etc.) This information comes in different shapes and sizes and can't always be organized into easily searchable rows, columns, and fields.  This presents users with a problem: just how do you organize such an amorphous blob of information?

Traditional databases are too structured to handle random information.  They were not conceptualized to deal with text.  What's required is a free-form tool, flexible enough to handle all the different types of information that it encounters.

askSam presentations focus on the different types of  information that can be managed with a free-form database.

askSam Reviews

askSam is the database for information.  With askSam, you can organize anything from addresses to email.  Reviews previously published in user group newsletters appear on the askSam Web site - http://www.asksam.com  - in the Press section.  Review copies of askSam are available to user group Review Coordinators upon request.
