1) Advanced Web Searching -- Using Search Engine "ShortCuts"
I am constantly searching the web for research, news, new
products, and more. Advanced search engine query commands make
available to you a whole new world of searching.
For example did you know that in Google you can...
- Search for pages that have links to a URL.
Syntax: link:www.askSam.com
- Search for definitions
Syntax: define:database
- Search for movie information
Syntax: movie:drama
You can also search by author or filetype or title or even within
the URL itself. Many shortcuts work for multiple web search
engines and several are unique to specific search engines.
John Satter posted a great list of search engine shortcuts for
Google, Yahoo and MSN. If you search the web you'll want to read
this article. You are sure to find something to make your web
searching more accurate and usable.

2) CNN/You-Tube Republican Debate -- Full Searchable Transcript
The eight candidates vying to be the Republican nominee for
president in the 2008 elections answered questions submitted by
CNN and YouTube users in a debate Wednesday November 28 2007.
We have placed the full text transcript of the debate in a
