2) Librarian's Internet Index - Websites You Can Trust
Information you can trust on the web is becoming more and more
difficult to find. The Librarians' Index to the Internet (LII)
is a searchable, annotated subject directory of more than 14,000
Internet resources selected and evaluated by librarians for
their usefulness to users of public libraries. LII is used by
both librarians and the general public as a reliable and
efficient guide to Internet resources.
The Librarians' Internet Index (LII) is a publicly-funded
website and weekly newsletter (subscriptions available by email
or RSS) serving California, Washington state, the nation, and
the world.
Tens of thousands of entries are available and maintained by
librarians, and organized into 14 main topics and nearly 300
related topics.
