try to export to medline format. I think endNote will support it like Refence Manager, a very similar program from the same developer ISI. Asksam offers an import routine for medline. Hope that helps...

when opening an asksam vers. 5 file for the first time with asksam 6, the old file is renamed to "myfilename.as5". Look for these files with suffix "as5" and rename them back to "ask". Now you can open them with your former asksam vers. 5. It is strongly recommended to do all this with a backup copy of the files. Hope this helps to get your infomation back!

missing toolbar

| Running reports with the viewer normally leads to the temporary shown toolbar "report output". I don't know what really happened but this toolbar disappeared. Uninstall and reinstalling the viewer doesn't help. This behaviour only concerns to the viewer, AskSam 5.1 is fine. Any suggestions? |

Indexing a viewer file

| A formerly indexed asksam file greater than 10 MB (distributing only the .ask, not the .dta and .idx file) will not be (re-)indexed by the viewer as described in the help. I think this tool only works with an .ask file whose index has been deleted and which has been packed before. Can someone confirm this? |
