Saving a site Posted: 28 Jan 2005 04:24 AM |
I apologize if I've totally missed something...
I went to a site (http://www.westciv.com/style_master/academy/hands_on_tutorial/index.html) that is a css course.
I tried to save it off-line via SurfSaver. It seemed to work... I can run the site having started from the html page in the folder. BUT:
I quickly seem to be on actual web pages, instead of saved off-line pages. And it doesn't seem to matter how I save it... I've done it using the full URL, 400 deep, etc... And I don't want the site to "go away" and lose access to it (the whole point of SurfSaver, yes?).
What am I doing wrong here?
Regards,

| There is a setting in the SurfSaver options window under "Misc" that says "Search SurfSaver folders for links first" that should be enabled. This will cause SurfSaver to check for a locally saved copy of the webpage before going to a live link on the web. |
