Have you checked and seen what the colors you selected for hits are set to? Have you tried changing them?

Vista handles the toolbars differently than XP, that is why the problem is in Vista. Microsoft changed the way toolbars are handled in Vista and the permissions/security "enhancements" in Vista are different. We are looking at this.

The formatting toolbar will not save the changes. You can create a new toolbar and move the buttons to it and it will save. The developers are looking at this problem and hopefully it will be addressed soon.

This sounds as if you do not have full administrator rights to the c:\program files folder in VISTA.
Try this..
1. Go to Control Panel and select CLASSIC VIEW (it can be found on the left hand side of the screen in the default blue section
2. Then select USER ACCOUNTS.
3. Turn the "User Account Control" off.
4. Try to install askSam from the manual download
5. After the installation, you can ... |

Try clicking on FILE -> PACK and pack the file and see if it frees the document up for you.

I see. At first I thoiught your were talking about the auto doc numbering and assumed you had a field with the doc number in it.

Believe me, we are trying to figure out why some people can not save web pages while some can. I hope that your clue will help us get rid of this problem. Up till now we have not been able to duplicate the problems here. It is hard to fix problems unless we can see the problem here. I will pass this on to the developers to see if it helps them solve the web page saving problems some people are having.

I am having no trouble sorting on date or time or date and time. I have made a smaple database for you to look at. It is at
Date\Time Sort
Download this file and click on ACTIONS -> SORT and sort by date[ first.
Then click on ACTIONS -> SORT and sort by time[ next. (make sure it is set to numeric)
Then click on ACTIONS -> SORT and sort by date and ... |
